Dear Valued Patient:

We appreciate you trusting your care with us.  The purpose of this letter is to notify you that Dr. Terri Barbee has notified us that she is relocating to Southern California and will no longer be part of Barbee Primary Care, a division of AZ Pain Doctors.  Dr. Barbee’s last day is March 31, 2023.  

As Dr. Barbee is our sole primary care physician, we will need to close our primary care division and will be unable to continue providing primary care as part of our overall medical services, however, our  pain management practice remains open and available to you.

We want to ensure that you are taken care of and that there is no gap in your care.  As such, Dr. Barbee will be available until March 31, 2023, and thereafter, you can choose any primary care provider.  In that regard, we are excited to recommend Grand Canyon Family Medicine for your ongoing primary care needs.  

Dr. Robert Tognacci and Dr. Lorretta McCarthy have both practiced in the East Valley for over 20 years.  After March 31, 2023, your medical records will be transitioned to Grand Canyon Family Medicine.   Until then, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office for copies of your records.
